Pretty Fly

Love these leggings: (topshop.com)

Is it too much?

The skinny model debate. (photo via http://www.nowpublic.com/culture/disturbingly-skinny-models-paris-haute-couture-runways-0 I own nothing)
Obviously, they need to be skinny. It's sad but somewhat obvious that the absolutely beautiful clothing made by these designers, they have to be skinny. Lets face it. we'd all rather be skinny than fat. But when it gets to the extremes?
Can you imagine curling up in bed at night and just feeling your bones?
It scares me.
What do you think?

The Ugg Debate... And some other stuff.

Doing my daily browsing of the netshops today... Getting some stuff for your truly and I came across a pair of Uggs. (the photo below is from http://www.uggclassicboot.us/) What do you all think of uggs? Personally I LOVE them. Practically the only shoes I actually wear. So comfortable, and, come on, lets face it, they are OH SO kings-road-daddys-girl-about-london-town sloan-princess. I own the pair below, Chesnut Classic Length. Your thoughts?

Also.... I need a new bag. And I found THE PERFECT ONE (apart from the fact that I can't afford it :/) Miu Miu, courtesy of the faboosh http://www.net-a-porter-com ... Have just realised this means something along the lines of 'wear the web' but my French is bad so correct me if I'm wrong.. The bag is as follows:

luella et lavin .... LBD - little blue dress

was flipping through style.com (who own all the rights to these images... which were edited by picnik(.com) )(oh and BTW the stuff below is ALL net-a-porter)
Anyway I realised... I was seeing a LOT of LBD.. like little BLUE dress type... I LOVE it. Reeally feeling it for this spring. So I have two of my favourites... Luella (on the left. Very London prim-mother-superior-type but cute) and Lavin (which I adore on the right)
Am reaally loving these two... Your thoughts? Your faves?

dreaming of net-a-porter... again....

The pink Dolce and Gabanna? ... SO stunning. Love it love it love it. Can't quite afford the £500 price tag. (around $900 to you all) but it's stunning. Light pink flirty, but sexy.. Dolce and Gabanna is 'de italia' but this dress 'vaiiry british'... I LOVE it.. Dress it up with some gold detailed necklace... Maybe gold heels? Maybe something edgy and black?
Then dress it down.. Do the black leather stud jacked.. Dark tights? Ankle boots? Couple of chains... Pretty cool. Your thoughts?

I there is ONE thing I buy designer this season i know what it is.. THIS. Absolutely stunning Chloe top.. It's not Audrey. But pair it with the sunglasses underneath and I thiink... Pretty woman. It is strictly property of net-a-porter.com... one of the best sites on the web... without a doubt. love x

don't shoot me. don't roll your eyes. i just love these.

Amaazing? Yes. They're overpriced. They're whaaay oversized. But not in that ugly-sloane-wannabe-blonde-chavvy-bimbo type of way.. in a vaairy Audreyesque type of way. look stunning on. trust me on that.. check out the website for loads more.

btw this photo belongs ENTIRELY to the link listed below.. once again all i do is adore

.....little thought for a shopping trip?

okkaay... you know the shopping trip you've got planned for a couple of weeks.. the shopping trip you talked about with the girls at lunch? Yes...? This is what you could wear...
Tight skirt, but even it out with the baggy cropped jumper, which is only going to make you look skinnier, plus it's neutral, so it keeps it balanced again... Try it with the lace/plain vest underneath.. Dark tights.. Uggs? or Pumps.. or boots, it looks good with most stuff. I am *loving* this new vintage edge topshop are bringing out, it's soo cute but still edgy.... Your thoughts?

Oh and btw all the photos on this post belong 100% to the fabulous topshop.com, probably the best place in the world to shop plus the post below is also from there.. Oh and the one below that www.jackwills.com.. I own nothing.. I just worshipp

jeans?

jeans. jeans. jeans.

i live in my jeans.

okay, lets face it, they're not exactly swish original fashionista type things to wear. yes. but everyone owns them? i think so. it's because they just go. they just fit. it's hard to go wrong. i like skinnys. skinny jeans. but really that just depends on every person.. but have a look down sloane street any saturday brunchtime and i gaurantee that at least 95% of the teenage/and slightly older, bored, rich looking females will be wearing the skinniest jeans imaginable, tucked into their chestnut, original length uggs.
jeans i'm wearing? topshop. topshop jamie jeans, are the best skinny jeans you can find.. obviously diesel, levi's and sevens etc etc ETC do amazing skinnys too. but lets be fair.. who else here could quite happily blow £200 on a pair of jeans? didn't think so. i think it's good to maybe have, say, one or two pairs of expensive jeans, or more, obviously if you can, but if not. TOPSHOP.
my particular faves atm are the ones above, topshop jamie's, vintage spray ons, £40... find them on the second page of the jamie's section on their website: www.topshop.com ... click on jeans, then skinny..

what i love

I love this dress. You can't actually buy it anymore. It was a limited edition dress at Jack Wills (www.jackwills.com). We were all somewhat astounded at its original price tag of £800, which seemed a bit much for a Jack Wills dress, but look at it. To me it shows the best of british. It's in your face. Bright. Rememberable. Different. Kooky. Beautiful. Free.
It's not, something most people could pull of, myself included. But I think it's fantastic. It's art. What do you think?
british style, is, i think - the best in the world. it's free. it's bright. it's like wearing your insides on the out. you wear what you think and make it how you feel. its statement. i love it.
